5 Meetup Groups match “Getting started with Python” near Denver, CO
This is a group for anyone interested in in the Python computer language, from absolute beginners to experts. We're enthusiastic, polite and beginner-friendly. The group exists to share ideas and expertise, facilitate discussion and share the fun of Python in southern Colorado. We generally have a project night on the second Tuesday of the month and presentations on the fourth Tueday.
This Meetup is for parents and their kids who want to share what they know about coding, engineering, electronics, and their interests in making stuff with technology, specifically with some Raspberry Pi in the mix. We like to meet after the school day at least once a month, preferably at a school. All experience levels are encouraged to participate. If you have ideas for a meeting place, please let us know.
Every software engineer needs to practice. Born from the attendees of Code Retreat Boulder 2011, we meet bimonthly to hone our skills working on interesting problems. The Code Retreat format was developed by Corey Haines and others. The essence of the format is that people pair-program on a problem for 45 minutes then throw away their code, take a short break, switch partners and repeat the process. The main focus of the group is on software/web development, but we are open to programmers from other fields as well (science, medical, IT, etc).
